Last night I went to the movies and had a hot dog and popcorn. The hotdog was probably 7-8pts and I have no idea how many points in popcorn. The popcorn made me kinda sick, so I probably ate too much of it. Oh, popcorn, why do you hate me so??? Anyhoo, I was down half a pound this morning. Today after work we are going to Jason's deli and I'm very excited about what I'm having tonight.

Just a thought. Last month I ate at Jason's Deli with my husband at lunch and I had this pollo mexicano baked potato. It was absolutely huge, but I didn't think I was eating that unhealthy. Now, I know that I didn't finish it, but I did eat most of it. Guess how many points in that sucker? 41 points!!!!! Woah!

Two days to put it on and two days to take it back off. That sounds about right. :) I'm back down to 243 this morning. Yea! I had this bowtie pasta last night and it was wonderful!

As expected, I went up in weight. Yesterday I weighed in at 246 and this morning at 245. I'm hoping that by Thursday I will be back down to 243 and I can at least lose one more pound this week.

Ugh...real quick. I've done horrible on my diet this weekend! Saturday when I weighed in, I was 243....so, that's good. But we went to the state fair yesterday and I had funnel cake and cookies. Well, today I was going to be good, but I've just eaten a ton of dessert.

Tomorrow is a new week, and I need to make sure I start the week good. I'll try to not be discouraged by the scale in the morning.

This morning I dropped another pound, 244. I still have a tremendous amount to go, but at least I'm feeling much healthier and comfortable.

My dinner at Boston Market last night was heavenly! I love their roasted chicken. Delish!

My weight dropped to 245 this morning. That's 10 pounds lost in 2.5 weeks. Not too shabby, I do say.

Last night I went to Social Suppers and made up a bunch of meals. I like that they have their nutritional info available so that I can still calculate points. I made a mexican type cassarole last night and had a hard time finishing it...must have been the black beans in it. It was very good.

Ugh. I managed to keep from eating everything in sight last night and went to bed hungry, thinking that I would see a drop from the scale this morning. Alas, same weight. It just set the mood for a really crappy day.....

I weighed myself this morning and I was still 246. That was after a weekend of eating some french fries, tator tots with cheese, ice cream and pizza. So, I'm pleased, but now back to my diet!

My oldest started kindergarten today, so with a late start, I didn't eat breakfast until 10! That's okay...strangely, with the exception of when my ravenous hunger when I first got up, I haven't been very hungry. My husband made pancakes, but I passed. Here's my meal plan.

I started coming down with the stomach flu last night and didn't end up all of my dinner. I ended up having 5 pts left over. Oh well...I wish you could transfer those extra points to another day, but I don't think that's allowed.

I still wasn't feeling well this morning and am actually still in my pajamas so I don't know what I weigh this morning. We are going to my parents this weekend, so I will weigh myself again on Monday.

Weighed in this morning...still at 248. I do think I may have lost half a pound though.

Last night I made a chicken pasta cassarole from the WW cookbook and it was pretty blah. When I went to get the kids, my babysitter had made some nachos and I ate 2. They were pretty cheesy, so I'm counting them at 2pts. After eating a not so good dinner, I almost went into a food frenzy, but didn't. HURRAH!

What a crazy weekend! I literally shopped the entire weekend and boy do my feet hurt!

Friday night I went out with my parents and had Chicken and Shrimp fajitas. I'm not sure how many points, but I ate very little cheese and sour cream and had only 2 tortillas, so I'm pretty sure I didn't go over much on the points for Friday. Saturday I had a slimfast (4pts) and then we went to Chick Fil-A where I had a very point friendly Salad (12pts). That left my dinner where I thought I was totally splurging with deep dish pizza, but found out I probably only had maybe (15pts). So, my true splurge was a pint of Dove's icecream.

Then, on Sunday I had a (6pts) breakfast of cereal. And a Wendy's salad (15pts). Then for my second splurge of the weekend was more ice cream, potato chips and a tuna salad sub sandwich from Jimmy Johns.

I was expecting to be up 3 pounds, but only went up 1 lb. So I'm starting the week at 250lbs.
I went grocery shopping yesterday and bought some healthy groceries because I'll be cooking this week.

Well....here we go again. Hopefully this time is the last time I'll say I'm restarting my diet!

I'm going to try to mix things up a little time (literally!). I'm going to piece together different diets that have worked for me in the past and see how things go.

I restarted weight watchers this past Monday and have done amazingly well. 6 pounds lost so far! Of course, I'm sure that much of that is water, but hey, I'll take it! I've been keeping a journal this week, but hate writing things to paper, so I thought I'd start a blog and see how that goes.

How am I going to do things differently this time???

  • I'm going to keep track of my points just like weight watchers.
  • Instead of using flex points for the weekend, I'll allow myself to eat whatever I want for two meals during the weekend. (Fiber/fat diet)
  • I will eat something every 3 hours. (Jorge Cruise diet)
  • Everytime I lose 10% of my body weight, I will take a metabolic break. (I got this idea from the curves diet).
  • The metabolic break is where you start eating more calories and keep close track of your weight. As soon as you gain 3 pounds, you go back onto your diet for 2-3 days. You keep on this cycle and soon the length of time that you are able to eat more calories without gaining weight will increase.
  • The metabolic break will last no longer than 2-3 weeks.
I've been eating a lot of box dinners this week, but with my busy schedule, I don't really have time to cook. I hope this will change once the husband is no longer working multiple jobs.

I started out this journey at an all time high for me.... 255. So, 10% would be 25 pounds. I will start my metabolic break at 230. I just hit 249 this morning, so starting next week I will be eating 32 points daily.
